Generative Somatics - Healing Shame and Conflict as Generative Course:
Healing Shame and Conflict as Generative Course is a 10 week course for practitioners interested in learning Generative Somatics and deepening their skills in a small group setting. Limited to 12 participants per cohort, the small size of the group allows for a mixture of theory, discussion, and practice, as well as witnessing and feedback from the instructor.
The next cohort will meet Tuesdays 10am - 1pm Sept 16th, 2025 - Nov 24th, 2025, for a total of 10 weeks / 30 hours (no class Oct 21st). Sessions will run in-person at a location in East Vancouver.
Course curriculum will include:
Generative Somatics’ Theory of Change
Somatic Practices for Healing Shame
Somatic Practices for Conflict as Generative, including Centered Accountability, Holding Contradictions, Making Requests & Offers, Decline and Redirection, and Centered Quit.
During the 10 week course, participants will be supported to:
Deepen their own embodiment.
Practice and deepen their somatic perception.
Deepen their understanding of Generative Somatics’ Arc of Transformation and its relevance for healing and social change.
Witness and practice somatic skills that forward healing and transformation specifically in the realm of healing shame and supporting clients to move through conflict in ways that are generative.
Have space to ask questions, and enjoy learning together.
Cost is $2100 per participant ($210 per 3 hour session).

Generative Somatics - Somatic Awareness & Rebuilding Safety Course:
Somatic Awareness & Rebuilding Safety Course is a 10 month course that aims to build meaningful embodiment of Generative Somatics practices for developing somatic awareness and rebuilding a felt sense of safety. These are foundational practices in guiding clients through an arc of healing.
We will begin each day with embodiment practice and then move into demonstrations and practices, including declarations/commitments, centering under pressure, blending with safety shape, and embodied consent. We will also discuss practitionership and how to bring this work into client sessions. Participants should come away with a deepened embodiment of these practices and a strong sense of how they might use it in their work.
The next cohort will meet Wednesdays 10am - 12pm Sept 17th, 2025 - June 10th, 2026, for a total of 10 months / 36 hours (no class Dec 24th or March 18th). There will be 18 sessions, 2 hours each. Sessions will run in-person at a location in East Vancouver.
Course curriculum will include:
Generative Somatics’ Theory of Change
Generative Somatic Practices for Somatic Awareness, including centering and declarations, centering with transition, and moving from center.
Generative Somatic Practices for Rebuilding a Felt Sense of Safety, including centering under pressure, blending with safety shape, and embodied consent.
Discussion about practitionership / integrating Generative Somatics into their client work.
